E.T Mensah Dead At Age 77
Former member of parliament for Ningo Prampram, Enoch Teye Mensah is confirmed dead at the age of 77.
The veteran politician was pronounced dead on Sunday, October 1, 2023, in South Africa where he was admitted and receiving health care.
E.T. Mensah when alive was a prominent member of the National Democratic Congress political party and served in various capacities such as Minister of Education, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mayor of Accra, and representative of the Council of State for the Greater Accra Region.

During the 1996 General Election, E.T. Mensah was chosen to serve in the Second Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. He remained the Ningo Prampram MP until 2016 when he was defeated by Samuel Nartey George in the NDC’s parliamentary primary.
He went on the day after Theresa Kufuor, the former first lady of Ghana.

Enoch Teye (E.T) Mensah was pronounced dead on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Sources indicate that the former Youth and Sports Minister was sick and flown to South Africa to receive treatment.
He was reported dead after suffering a long-term sickness. Authorities are yet to publish the actual sickness that took the life of the former Minister of Education, Enoch Teye Mensah.
