Citi-Star Media Observes Breast Cancer Awareness Month In Style
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is scheduled for every October annually. This year’s campaign has received massive patronization globally.
On October 13, 2023, the management and staff of Citi-Star Media observed the pink month in relation to breast cancer awareness.
At the conference, the CEO of Citi-Star Media, Nana Mante De-General admonished women to seek immediate medical care whenever they feel any abnormality with their breasts.
He continues to say that women should be very cautious with the kind of apparel and chemical pomades they apply on the breast since it remains a major factor that contributes to the contraction of breast cancer.
“It is very important for women to seek early medical attention whenever they feel any abnormality in their breasts. Sometimes our ladies too should be very conscious of the kind of apparel they bag their breasts. You should wash and sterilize all second-hand braziers before wearing them to reduce the risk of contracting breast cancer” – CEO of Citi-Star Media, Nana Mante De-General admonished female employees.
Breast cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the breast cells.
The second most prevalent cancer in women to be diagnosed in the world is breast cancer. Both men and women can develop breast cancer, but women are much more likely to do so.
Breast cancer diagnosis and treatment have advanced thanks to significant investment in research and awareness campaigns.

With earlier identification, a novel customized approach to therapy, and a better knowledge of the disease, breast cancer survival rates have improved and the number of fatalities linked to the disease is continuously reducing.
Symptoms of Breast Cancer
The following are some of the major signs and symptoms of Breast Cancer. Persons with any of the below symptoms should seek immediate medical attention.
- A breast lump or thickening that feels different from the surrounding tissue
- Change in the size, shape, or appearance of a breast
- Changes to the skin over the breast, such as dimpling
- A newly inverted nipple
- Peeling, scaling, crusting, or flaking of the pigmented area of skin surrounding the nipple (areola) or breast skin
- Redness or pitting of the skin over your breast, like the skin of an orange
