Daylight Robbery At Spintex Road
On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, commuters along Spintex Road in the Greater Accra Region witnessed a daylight robbery at FBN Bank.
An eyewitness report indicates that two robbers on a motorcycle succeeded in running away with an undisclosed amount of money meant to be deposited in a savings and loan company.
A sequence of social media posts depicts the incident at the Pan African Savings and Loans branch, adjacent to FBN Bank on Spintex Road.

The robbers allegedly trailed someone carrying a bag full of cash to the bank.
In a video available to us, gunshots can be heard, but what was initially believed to be an exchange of fire with police, turned out to be warning shots by the robbers.
In the process, one of the robbers fell off the bike as they made away with the money, but he was lucky enough to get back onto the bike as they bolted off the scene.
