I Am Tired of Hiding The Truth – OV Threatens to Expose Stonebwoy

Former Burniton Music Group signed musician Okailey Verse known best as OV in a latest interview has threatened to expose her former record boss Stonebwoy on why she left the label.

Speaking to Kumawood actor turned journalist Kwaku Manu, the singer revealed that Stonebwoy has warned her not to mention the exact situation that triggered her expulsion.

She said that Stonebwoy has been shying from the real issue that caused her to leave the Burniton Music Group anytime he’s quizzed by the media.

OV continued by daring presenters to put it to Stonebwoy to speak about the real issue that caused her to leave the record label and if he refused to speak, she would reveal every secret.

“He actually told me not to tell anyone but I am tired of keeping it from the public. The fact is when he is being interviewed, he does not speak about it so no one knows what really happened” she said.

Okailey Verse in the interview revealed that she does not smoke and debunked the assertion that she was sacked from the label because she smokes.

OV was born with the legal name Barbara Naa Okailey Nyarko but wants to be known by the stage name OV.

She is a multi-talented young Ghanaian artist born on 4th December 1998 and attended Ghana Senior High School in Koforidua the capital of the Eastern Region.

She commenced her artistic journey as a dancer even though she was singing and learned the guitar as well. She became famous among her schoolmates and the public during childhood as ‘skelebarbs’ due to her dancing abilities.

While in High School, she won many certificates for being the best dancer and after graduating, she aspired to chase her musical career.

After three (3) years, OV was sacked from the BMG. Even though the public is yet to know why she was sacked from the label, the singer has dared her record boss to speak the truth about her departure.
