I paid Asantewa for a Tiktok promo And She didn’t do it – Bullgod
Artist manager, Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson is known widely as Bulldog but now Bullgod has stated on live radio that Ghanaian TikTok star, Asantewaa sometime ago dupped him of his promo money.
Speaking on Hitz’s FM DaybreakHitz, the former manager of Shatta Wale stated emphatically that he has to retrieve some money he had given to Asantewaa to promote his artist’s music which she did not.
“I paid Asantewa for a Tiktok promo. She didn’t do it. I took back my money.” Bullgod reveals.
His comment was about the current discussion at the Ghanaian music terrain involving Tiktok influencers and music promotion.
Over the week, Ghanaian sensational dancer, Incredible Zigi stated that they (TikTok influencers) have been making the product of musicians popular while the performers are sleeping.

He said, “…dancers are making the musicians’ music popular while the musicians are sleeping”.
His statement generated a heated argument in the music fraternity and on Monday, September 18, 2023, Bulldog made a revelation about how a TikTok influencer nearly duped him.
Bullgod continued to say “Back then, dancers were in the background. Now they are in the foreground. They should hold it well before they lose it”.
He recalled, “Some time ago, Asantewa on UTV made a careless statement that artists’ songs cannot thrive if they [Tiktok influencers] are not contracted to push the songs”.
Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson concluded by saying “I know Incredible Zigi. He is not a disrespectful person. But not everyone is meant for public speaking”.
